As a compact, online trace argon/helium analyzer, the N2Sense is powered by our patented enhanced plasma discharge (Epd) technology. Compared to other commercially available analyzers, which use a single wavelength measurement, the N2Sense uses a combination of unique stabilizing/focusing electrodes and electron injection electrodes with the spectral compensation optical measurement. All of which means that you benefit from better performance and signal stability.

With the introduction of oxygen steelmaking, the effects of nitrogen contamination on the steel became apparent. Whether present as a residual element or added deliberately as an alloying element, the effects of nitrogen in steel are significant. Nitrogen impurities in O2 are known to cause embrittlement in steels. We have worked with many O2 producers or steel manufacturer to implement our solutions. Most realized that N2 level in O2 was much higher than anticipated due to poor O2 quality or simply leaks that have developed over time on the distribution line.
